Softly Sometimes is a blog on makeup and beauty—occasionally, personal style—by me. My name is Carina and I watch makeup tutorials in between graphic designing, writing, and making stuff. I swatch like there’s no tomorrow, and eyeshadow palettes excite me.
This started out as a way for me to document my makeup consumption and opinions on the different products I try. It has since evolved into a more thoughtful avenue through which I examine my consumerist patterns and aim to be more mindful of the ingredients of these products, as well as the ethical implications of their production.
Or so I’d like to think.
I currently focus on reviewing cruelty-free beauty products, and am in the process of introducing more natural elements into my makeup and skin care routine. All PR samples are marked with an asterisk (*) and reviewed according to my personal experience. For my PR Policy click here.
