5 Product Face No. 8

Nature Republic By Flower Auto Eyebrow in 02 // NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger // 3CE Cream Eyeshadow in Glamorous // ColourPop Lippie Stix in Lumière Yay! Another 5 Product Face. I had to get ready really quickly for a short get-together with my two best friends before saying farewell to Barby, who would be leaving for Chicago the day after. Here’s what I came up with:

5 Product Face No. 7

Nature Republic By Flower Auto Eyebrow in 2 // NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger // Ellis Faas Creamy Eyes in E106 // K-Palette 1 Day Magic Liquid Eyeliner* // 3CE Powdery Lip & Cheek in Pink One Piece A rather spring-appropriate 5 Product Face in the winter—oops. I used several new products in my arsenal in this look and I’m excited to share my initial thoughts on them. A quick note, though: these photos were taken about 6 or 7 hours after application and only the cheek/lip color was reapplied.

5 Product Face No. 6: All Hands on Deck!

My friends, it has been a while since my last “5 Product Face” post, and this time I thought it would be nice to use products that don’t require any tools besides my hands. I picked out these products before checking my last post… and realized that they are actually quite similar in method. Oops. K-Palette 24H Real-Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow (G101)* // Ellis Faas Concealer (S203)* // Happy Skin Cosmetics Eye Am Here to Stay Gel Liner (Chic Brown) // Illamasqua Cream Foundation (CF 320) // Addiction by Ayako Cheek Stick (Rose Bar) So, I just used the concealer as a base—the Ellis Faas Concealer* has great coverage that isn’t dewy or wet-looking but can forego the use of a setting powder—with the Illamasqua foundation as a contour product. I bought it on extreme sale for that purpose. Rose Bar, again, on my cheeks and lips, and a pretty brown creamy liner for eye definition. P.S. CHECK OUT HOW DIFFERENT MY FACE SHADE IS FROM MY NECK. Ridiculous. If your face and neck don’t match, …

Le Métier de Beauté Peau Vierge Correcteur (Medium) // K-Palette Real Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow (101)* // Oslo Cosmetics Eyeshadow (Vela) // K-Palette 1 Day Magic Fiber Mascara* // Addiction by Ayako Cheek Stick (Rose Bar) Et voilà! The fifth 5 Product Face. 🙂 This was inspired in part by the beautiful eyeshadow I used for this look today, which is Oslo Cosmetics' Vela. It's a standard blue-brown duochrome shade, like MAC's Club, or that 2nd Definer shade on the Wet and Wild Comfort Zone Palette. The lowdown: I used the concealer on my under eye darkness, filled in my brows with the lightest shade I have, and slicked on the duochromey eyeshadow all over my lids. I defined my eyes and lashes with this amazing new mascara from K-Palette, and did the cheek and lip with the Cheek Stick. I love multi-purpose products! They make this series so easy to do. 😀 Anyway, I like this a lot and may redo it in the future. 🙂 * PR Sample Follow me: Bloglovin' • Twitter • …

MAC Paint Pot in Painterly // MAKE Colour Post-Impressionism Palette, used Storm and Scarlet Oak // K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow in 102* // Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Abundance // bareMinerals Mineral Veil Yay, another 5 Product Face. I really love making these things. I mean, if I didn’t already say… which I did. HEH. Anyway, this is a pretty simple look that relies on colors for the drama. 🙂 I used Storm, which is a matte deep blue green, as a liner and I really exaggerated that wing. (As you can see.) For lips, I used Scarlet Oak, which is a warm red orange. These two came from the MAKE Colour Post-Impressionism Palette, so they’re technically from only one product. Do I count this palette as two products? I probably should—I wish I did without the paint pot (used just to neutralize the lids), if that’s the case. Let’s pretend I didn’t use it… please? Brows are by the K-Palette marker/powder duo* in the medium, warmer brown, 102, and cheeks are …

bareMinerals READY 2.0 (The Scenic Route) // Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (Mars) // BECCA Beach Tint (Raspberry) // NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (Dolce Vita) // K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Eyebrow Mascara (102 Natural Brown)* I’ll share something with you: I really enjoy coming up with these 5-product looks! I didn’t want to use foundation for this one (I had quite a large, bulbous cystic pimple on one side of my nose), so I blotted my face with an oil sheet and proceeded to use the aforementioned products. As you can see, my hair was a bit longer here, so to be honest, this is an old photo set. I just didn’t want to bombard y’all with 5 Product Faces. I hope you like these just the same, though!

BareMinerals Prime Time in Bronzed Twig // Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Dixie // K-Palette 24H Real Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow Liner // KATE Super Sharp Liquid Liner // Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation in Just Sheer A nice trick when looking for products for a 5-product face is to consider application. The ones I used for this particular look, I could use without brushes. For my base, I’ve got the Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation, which I sometimes apply with a flat foundation brush but works just as well when applied with fingers. Then, I’ve got the K-Palette 24H Real Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow Liner* for my brows. I appreciate it when my eyes are defined, so for that, I went with this gorgeous cream shadow (in atrocious packaging) from bareMinerals and a very thin, very slight wing using a liquid liner by KATE. I rounded out everything by using one of my favorite multi-use products—Illamasqua Cream Blusher—on my lips and cheeks. * PR Sample Follow me: Bloglovin' • Twitter • Instagram • YouTube • Facebook
