Yay, here’s Week 2 of my Beauty Dare to wear 20 different lipsticks in a month, in an effort to stay away from the neutrals and MLBBs I always reach for and to keep my lipsticks in a healthy rotation. If you missed the Week 1 Recap, it’s here.
DAY SIX feat. MAC Creamsheen Lipstick in Ravishing
I love this color, but I hate this formula, which is probably why I don’t wear this shade that often. It’s just heavy and icky, but the color is just fantastic, I think.
DAY SEVEN feat. Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Favorite
I wore this to the farm for my sister’s birthday. This is a pretty great long-wearing matte formula, but it does tend to cling to dry patches when you don’t prep your lips properly.
DAY EIGHT feat. Guerlain Rouge G L’Extrait in Orgueil
Orgueil is my favorite red. I don’t wear this out all that often anymore, just because I’ve nested in my comfy neutrals, but I love the shade. It’s a plum-leaning, deeper than usual red and it has transfer issues, but it’s long-wearing and beautiful!
DAY NINE feat. THREE Glam Touch Lipstick Color in Edith’s Whisper
I’m not sure why this is so sheer in the photograph, but this is a brown-based sheer dark red. It’s easy to wear and reapply.
DAY TEN feat. NARS Satin Lipstick in Niagara
A beautiful lip c/o Laala from our swap! This is so easy to wear and brightens up the face real nicely for the summer.
And that’s it for Week 2! My original rules were to wear one shade for each weekday but I overestimated my social calendar (lol), so two of these shades were worn on the weekend. I’m altering my rules to wear a different lip for 5 days of each week, regardless of weekday status.
If you’re doing this challenge too, don’t forget to link me! 🙂 I’m honestly really enjoying it so far, and it lets me really think about what shades I already have in my stash so I currently have the hots for no lipsticks… except maybe NARS Catfight. But I can manage.

Except for Orgueil, these all look very wearable. I’m surprised you don’t consider them neutral nor MLBB. Why???
Hey Tellie! Well, strictly speaking, neutrals are… neutrals. These are pinks, peaches, sheer burgundies. I don’t think any of them are necessarily neutrals, and none of them are MLBBs. Maybe they’re not bold and loud colors—I don’t have many of those to begin with—but they are definitely not neutrals!
Oooh good point. Sobrang biased ko pala talaga sa pinks I consider them neutral, but they aren’t (not by a mile!)
Orgueil! you look stunning in all those photos but that in particular, wow.
Oh, thank you! 🙂

Peach is definitely your color. Btw, you inspired me to do a foundation challenge. Crossfingers I follow-through.
Yay for you following through! 😀 😀 😀
