I just wanted to share a few looks from the Le Métier de Beauté Sexy Eye Palette, which I got last month from the BVVIP box. I liked it when I got it but I didn’t predict that I would be using it pretty exclusively for the next month. I think you guys might be able to tell that I haven’t been too active on here, but this palette is what, as children are wont to say these days, “gives me life.” Ha. Anyway, I really like it and it’s making me wear color!

I think my favorite non-neutral shade in the palette is the iridescent orchid on the top row, which I’m wearing on the center of my lids here. I didn’t put a primer and saw a few friends later that day and they both made a comment about how pretty this color is.

This look used a couple of blues and warm browns in the palette. And a really light champagne-y shade. I’ve really moved on from having to have mattes in my palette now, for some reason. Anyway, I like this look!

Ahhh, color. This is the same orchid I was talking about in the first look. So pretty. I don’t do this all too often, but I think it’s a pretty effect if you want to wear a bit of color. I know it’s not going to be for everyone, though. I used a bunch of colors here, too, but mostly the neutral, earthy ones. I love this palette… it’s weird. The other 18-pan LMdB palette I bought is way more “neutral” and “everyday” but I’m getting a lot more use out of this.

And that’s it! I’m trying to get back into the groove of things. I know I said I would be posting less, and I anticipated that, but I didn’t think I would be posting this much less. If that makes sense. I haven’t been buying makeup lately, so I’m still thinking of my plan of action.
Also, it’s so hot here that makeup just feels like a really dumb idea sometimes. I hope you’re all doing swell!
