First Nature Republic Haul!

A few weeks ago, Patty alerted me to Nature Republic’s February markdown sale, so off I went! Nature Republic is a Korean brand, by the by. The name would suggest that. I asked for a list of recommendations and I just pretty much got what she told me to get (I am a sheep) because I was in a hurry. Here be my loot! Products in focus: Shine Blossom Rose Blusher (04 Lovely Rose), Aloe Vera 80% Cleansing Gel Cream, Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack. I will get into the blusher down below, but let me talk about the other two products in focus here. OK, so Patty advised me to get all of the items here, except for the Sleeping Pack, which I just got to make my purchase reach Php 1,000 for a free membership. I haven’t been perusing makeup counters in a while. Physically, anyway. I’ve rather been click-happy when it comes to cosmetics post-Christmas, because I had some extra money from gifts and such. I tucked most of it in the bank, but of course, I couldn’t help shopping for some items for myself, too. The trouble with shopping online is that it always feels like I have to go through hoops and needle eyes before I get my things. Two weeks into the new year and I’ve “acquired” a lot of items but haven’t gotten any of them. It’s a rather odd feeling to have less money but nothing in my hands. I suppose that’s a test of patience, which I wasn’t particularly good at to begin with, anyway. I was about to give in and run to the nearest mall to just buy something to get rid of this makeup itch, when a package arrived at my doorstep! Yay, bareMinerals! You have saved the day. December Partial Haul: Shiseido, Maybelline & Snoe Beauty.

In case you didn’t know, there has been a weird sale going on at Watson’s and the Health and Beauty section at SM Megamall. I say weird because it’s been going on for quite a while now, and also because I have no idea what the mechanics are. Just that they all have promos and that I have found it very hard to resist said sales. Last Sunday, I took home a couple of products from Shiseido, which is a brand I’d been meaning to try, and also a mascara from Maybelline, which I have reviewed here. From Shiseido, I treated myself to a “Smoothing Lip Pencil,” a “Luminizing Satin Face Color,” and a “Lacquer Rouge,” which I feel like is similar to Revlon’s Liquid Lipsticks and Guerlain’s Rouge G L’Extraits. I got these products at 30% off (20% + 10% off if I reach Php 1,500). I believe the sale will last until the end of the month, so get on it!
