I didn’t want to go overboard so I tried to keep it under 10—here are my favorites for this month! ❤
For lip products, I have three favorites this month, all of which offer a good range in terms of price. First up is a lipstick from the shu uemura x Karl Lagerfeld collaboration—a Rouge Unlimited shade called Celebrity Beige. Here it is used as a FOTD.
I love that it’s a light coral, almost-nude color with just enough sparkle and shine. The formulation is also incredible, and the staying power is decent, for an ultra-slick lipstick. Read the review here.
Next up is from the NARS x Andy Warhol collaboration, a Larger Than Life Lipgloss in Viva! I have yet to review this (though, I’ve taken the pictures already), but it has changed my relationship with glosses.
We are very, very good friends now.
Last from the lip products is the Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Plum. Though I was met with a quite ghastly shade in the same purchase, I rather think that Sugar Plum will work its way to my HG list. Here are two FOTDs using the shade! I love it so much.
(Speaking of FOTDs, I post them pretty regularly on Instagram! Follow me, if you’d like: http://instagram.com/presidents.)
It’s reasonably moisturizing and the color is gorgeous for daily wear and also for a night out (like, for a dinner or something). Plus, it’s a fraction of what I pay for for great lipstick, so that’s a huge plus. Reviewed this here.
Now that the lip stuff’s out of the way, I have three eye products as well!
First up is my first MAC Paint Pot, which is in Rubenesque. I’ve reviewed this gorgeous peachy-rosy-golden color over here. See, what’s great about a paint pot is that it not only enhances your current shadow colors (by adding a peachy-rosy-golden dimension to it), it also acts like a base! 2-in-freakin’-1 and it didn’t even have to scrimp on prettiness.
Up there’s a look I made using Rubenesque as a base/primer. Pretty, pretty. Here’s a look I did, playing with the Paint Pot and one other eye product (loose eyeshadow). Can you say low maintenance?
I don’t know if it’s possible to be in love with a cosmetic product, but I do quite love this paint pot. Honestly, give this little guy a medal or something.
The next eye product is theBalm’s Nude ‘Tude Eyeshadow Palette, which I reviewed here. I’ve been using it quite a lot, but there is no visible dent in the pans yet, and I’ve also yet to see a shade underperform.
Quality nude palette, which is available in Manila, in case you’re too lazy to make the effort to get one of Urban Decay’s Naked palettes, all of which I have yet to see, touch, try.
Last eye product is Majolica Majorca’s Lash Expander Frame Plus 12 mascara! I filched this from my mom so I don’t know for sure, but I think it’s got a bit of a blue-grey tinge to it. They have small fibers that cling to your lashes, expanding them fo’ real! Reviewed (semi!) here.
I don’t wear it everyday, but I get compliments on my lashes when I do. 🙂
Last makeup item is a cheek product—a powder blush!—by NARS called Sin. I was an Orgasm girl (sounds weird, I know) for the longest time, which is what prevented me from trying other NARS cheek products. I already loved Orgasm, why look for anything else? As always, the need for variation wins out, and this time, I’m glad it did.
NARS Sin was reviewed here. It is currently competing for title of Favoritest Blush of All Time.
The last products are cleaning products, for the face and for my brushes!
The face cleanser is actually a Lip & Eye Makeup Remover by Laneige. I got it as a sample from Sarie, and honestly it’s quite effective and I wish my small sample bottle will never run out, like that story from the Bible where the oil just kept appearing at the bottom of the jar, but I know it’s impossible and that I might have to buy it from an actual store. Le sigh.
I totally would, though. Laneige Lip & Eye Makeup Remover was reviewed here.
The last November favorite is a makeup brush cleaner by J&C Cleaning Solutions! It’s effective, reasonably priced, and smells like spearmint! Yum.
This makeup brush cleaner was reviewed here.

See you soon for my December favorites!
What gave you the fuzzies last month? Let me know! 🙂
You make me laugh out loud with your makeup remover! Your blog I one of my favorites! 🙂
Ha, I’m glad! I love yours a lot, too 🙂
Love the Nars Gloss! D beautiful. I recently picked up sin as well, and am so in love. Orgasm was my first and I didn’t love it on me, I know I know… I love the balm shadows also. Great picks!
It’s quite pretty! I gravitated towards it because it was the least shimmery and it was my favorite color among the five that they released.
Thank you! 🙂
Got myself the Lip Butter in Sugar Plum because of your review. So happy! (:
I’m so glad! 😀
Dang you for making my list of ‘i want’ makeup longer! *shakes fists with jealousy and love*
Sorry!! At least you know they are good products? Hehehe.
