So, I attempted to recreate this look on Taylor Swift’s Vanity Fair cover. Very quick, eyeballing of the cover on my phone and making do with what I got. Also these Photobooth pictures make it look so much darker than it actually is.
Copying looks is a little hard especially if I have the wrong face shape, eye shape, nose shape, or whatever~ from the source of inspiration. While I’m not set out to do transformations like Promise Phan or anything like that, I try to be as close to the source material as possible. I’ve been trying out looks from local magazines, though, and it’s been easier to recreate them, though I suspect it’s because their features and mine are more similar to each other than mine to all of these Caucasians.
In any case, I think it’s a pretty look. Let me know if you’d be interested in a tutorial of this! It’s fairly quick and easy to do. 🙂
I like how you did your eyes here. 😊 By far my favorite look of you 😊
Aww, thank you so much! ❤
I like your lipstick! What is it? 🙂
Same here, I like the lipstick too!
Hi Irene and Andy! It’s Chanel Rouge Allure in Captivante. It’s a new shade out Spring 2013. 🙂
Do you think there’s an alternative with the same shade? Or at least near to that shade? Thanks! 🙂
I love this look on you,Careng! Lipstick looks almost identical too!
Thank you, Ina! 🙂
Taylor’s bangs look awkward haha
It’s not often that you see her in something other than a very red lipstick. I like the 70’s vibe of the photo. Hope you make a video tutorial (and I hope I have colors similar to what you’ll use.
