Introducing my second-ever LMdB Lipstick… Miami! I would have honestly purchased more of these if I could (the formula is great), but the online pictures on the sites do not show up “true to pan,” so to speak. I did not expect it to be so frosty!
Also, I wasn’t expecting this light of a color, but it worked out OK in the end, because I liked it enough. Miami is sort of like a bright, nude pink, if that makes sense. I suppose it’s because of all the frost!
I didn’t expect to be able to wear this, but I think I pulled it off okay here:
I think it’s one of those Lyte Frosty Ones that I can actually pull off, given my coloring and skin’s color temperature. Of course, it’s drawing a line that is very, very easy to cross, so I have to be careful with the other things I wear on my face when I do end up wearing this.
You can read more about the formula, packaging, et al. over here, when I reviewed Bondi Beach.
Le Métier de Beauté is a cruelty-free company. The Colour Core Moisture Stain lipsticks retail for $34 each.
NYX also has a “Miami” in their SLMC line – a blue-toned, mid-toned pink http://www.flickr.com/photos/blissery/9081968726/.
Funny how Miami is associated with light pinks.
I meant *SMLC sorry. Hashtag dyslexia.
I saw that, I wonder why. Haha is it like a manifestation of a beach blonde Barbie stereotype?
Haha possible!
Hey Carina, I haven’t tried any LMdB lipsticks yet! I think Miami might be too cool and light for me, but you did make it work!
Mmhmm, it’s a bit too frosty, I can’t wear it when I’m darker. Like, I feel like this is pushing it, lol. They do have an awesome range, though! 🙂
You look good in all lipsticks don’t you? 😛
This is a really beautiful lipstick shade!
Thank you! I was really scared it would be too pale. Hehe 🙂
