4 Product Face

4 product face

Here’s a very quick and basic day look that you can throw on easily, and with only 4 products! It’s very light and ideal for when you wake up late, or if you don’t necessarily want to bring a whole lot of products along with you on a holiday.

Here’s what I used to achieve this look:

4 product face - products and tools

PRODUCTS:
— NARS Tinted Moisturizer (Alaska)
— The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit (02)
— BECCA Beach Tint (Guava)
— Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (Luminous Light)

TOOLS:
— Marionnaud N°38 Eyes (Slanted + Spoolie)
— Hakuhodo H601 brush
— shu uemura eyelash curler

If you’re keen to know how I did it, watch this video:

The only thing I would do differently for this look was to maybe pat a little bit more of the brown shades on my eye to kind of intensify the color, and maybe add a bit of the darker brown to the outer ‘v’ for depth. Other than that, I think this is a pretty good look!

It looks grossly simple and minimal, but here is a before and after, just to show you how much a simple, basic look can still do. 🙂 It’s very ‘no makeup makeup!’

4 product face - before and after

I hope you enjoyed this and I’ll see you around!

  1. Looks great! =) It’s perfect for beach vacations and the like I think.

How does Luminious Light work for you? I just bought Diffused, and am contemplating buying another before going back to Singapore.

    • I like Luminous Light a lot, but my fave is Mood Light! 🙂 I’m so-so about Ethereal Light. I mean, it does what it says it will do (mimic moonlight~) but I’m not sure I like that look on myself.

      • Oh yeah, it might look ashy on your skin. Mood Light looks (and sounds) fabulous, I’ll go have a look at it! I figure since I have MAC’s Soft and Gentle, I could replicate Luminious Light by lightly dusting it on the face.

      • Yup, it’s definitely a nice powder, but I find mood light a bit more unique 🙂 also versatile as it does not have shimmer, so you can use it when you want a less dewy face 🙂

      • Oh damn. I’m going to Manila again in August, it would be awesome to pick up some more Hourglass products when there. I don’t understand why Singapore stopped carrying it, I thought these Ambient powders would be extremely popular.

  2. Great look! When I’m lazy (which is most of the time) I just apply brow gel, mascara and a lip stain, it really makes a difference although it doesn’t seem to. 😀

    • Thanks, Delia! 🙂 Haha I don’t really go for mascara cos my lashes are still kinda stubborn and flat even with it sometimes. But yes, I definitely know what look you are after 🙂

  3. Hey Carina, yay for 4 product face! I do something like this often. I also reach for a cream blusher in that case (because I won’t need a brush haha)!

    • Haha right? So convenient! I really wanna try those Stila and Bobbi Brown products one of these days.

  4. you have such great skin! I’ve said it before, but I just wanted to nash my teeth and say it again. You are so right to be concerned with sun exposure since environmental damage from sun is like one of the biggest reasons people’s skin ages faster. Always easier to maintain smooth plump skin than it is to correct sun damage.

    • Oh, thank you so much. 🙂 And I agree! Would you believe I didn’t even wear sunscreen or wash my face with soap everyday. ;_; Dark times, but my skin was (in my memory) kinda better, too!

  5. I have heard really great things about the Becca beach tints and have always wanted to try one 🙂 Your skin looks amazing you can definitely pull off the not much makeup look!
