Le Métier de Beauté Beauty Vault VIP for Jan and Feb 2015

I’m lumping two unboxing posts for my Le Métier de Beauté Beauty Vault VIP because the January box shipped a bit late and I couldn’t get the post up last month. It’s been a big blush time for Le Métier de Beauté, which I’m enjoying since I haven’t bought tried any blushes on my own aside from the cheek products I’ve gotten from this sub.

January 2015 Box: Powder Blush & Kabuki Brush

LMdB Beauty Vault VIP - Jan 2015 Unboxing - Blush and Brush

For January, subscribers received a plummy, shimmery blush and a kabuki brush, which is the first repeat item in the past eighteen months (August 2014-Jan 2015). The blush is the same size as their eyeshadow singles—a little small for a blush, a little big for eyeshadow—and the color is quite nice for everyday. There isn’t a label on it, just “VIP,” so I’m not sure what to call this shade, lol. I think one of the things that frustrate me about this sub is that it’s a little bit inconsistent in terms of branding/packaging. Sometimes, there are little cards that come with a bit more information about the items. Other times, there is barely any thought to the packaging.

Anyway, the blush is quite nice and I’ve used it a bunch of times since I got it. I’m not sure if I will be keeping the kabuki brush, since I already have one. It’s a great brush (but it sheds a little frequently), but I might pass it on to someone else or put it up on my blog sale.

February 2015 Box: Blushing Bronzed Duet in Romeo & Juliet

LMdB Beauty Vault VIP - Feb 2015 Unboxing - Blushing Bronzed Duet - Romeo and Juliet

The February item is a Blushing Bronzed Duet in Romeon & Juliet, which retails for $65. This box came with a card, briefly introducing the product: “The two merge together to create the perfect love (blush).” Available individually, the blush—the Radiance Rouge in Echo, a “delicate coral-pink”—and bronzer—in the shade Sun Kissed, a sheer light bronze powder—create such a pretty summer shade.

As you can see, I got this a bit broken… luckily, I like how it looks best, swirled together:

“This beautiful and balanced combination creates summer’s quintessential glow with ease and grace,” Le Métier de Beauté says on their Bergdorf Goodman description, and I have to agree.

  1. Both are gorgeous, the first shade in particular! Too bad it was pretty small and the other one was broken. I’ve been interested in trying out their VIP service but I was always wondering is it was worth investing in.

    • It’s a great sub if you are interested in or already a fan of LMdB. The payment is upfront but the overall cost per month is about $30. They always go over that value 🙂
