An FOTD that’s not my typical boring face.
I keep trying to use this Maybelline concealer but it’s really shit. Not sure why people like it so much. I feel so ashy-faced, but I’m not sure if it’s because of the color match or the texture. Leaning towards the texture, which just makes me feel cakey for some reason. It’s really weird. I have a pretty full bottle here (shade Medium) if anyone wants it. I got rid of the sponge but it’s pretty intact otherwise.
Anyway, I got this eyeshadow trio from Angel in the mail and wanted to try it out! 🙂 It’s by Monki, which is a fun clothing brand I like (under the H&M group apparently) that I didn’t know made cosmetics. I just did a cut crease with no gradient on the lid + a sleek wing. I like it, but the crease color pulled more grey than how blue-violet/navy it is in the pan.
I don’t… know how to wear bright blushes is what I realized late into my blush-buying game. But I kinda like how strong this one is, despite being a little 80s? Check out my highlight, too! I love Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders so much. 🙂
My lip color’s just a standard pale pink by ILIA. I like Blossomy Lady a lot more than I did when I first got it.

I hear a lot of Youtubers praise that concealer and I’m curious what makes it HG to some. Haha. But I’m more than satisfied with the Kuma concealer. That for me is really good.:)
It’s so annoying, I kinda hate it. I love the K-Palette Kuma one more for sure.

Also, I can’t believe the concealer isn’t working out for you. Never tried it myself, but too many people raving on it. Could it be old stock?
Hahaha IDK, I’m not a fan of how they look on me, at least worn this way! I think these weird colors, you just kinda have to get used to?
Nah, it was new. Haha I got it in the States and like I’ve never gotten on with it.
Love this FOTD! So fresh and glowy. I have the maybelline concealer, and while it’s ok, I find it a little creasy, but the shade is good for me.
