Short post dedicated to the stuff I was using last month that gave me a lot of happies. 🙂 I’m still pretty over the moon with them a week+ into July.
Skin Care
— Antipodes Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum*
This stuff’s amazing, I’ve been using it a lot with different types of moisturizers and facial oils. It’s a little boost of antioxidants and my skin’s been loving it.
— Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream*
This is a light moisturizer that plays well with humidity and smells so, so good and fresh. It’s got Manuka honey and the same antioxidant concoction as the Worship serum. I don’t use this everyday, but it’s always a pleasant experience when I do.
Makeup
— Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder (Medium)
I love this! I use this all the time, I don’t even use blush anymore. It’s a good contour powder and I mostly exclusively use this, putting aside even my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light because I can’t with the shimmer this summer. Anyway, again: I love this. It’s great.
— MAKE Celeste e Verde Palette*
Mostly for the eyeshadows. I’ve been using this for maybe 90% of my makeup looks the past month+. It’s great. It’s got a cool brown, a warm brown, and fun colors that don’t assault people. You’d think pale blue + yellow were hard to wear, but this palette makes it easy to.
— shu uemura eyeshadow in ME medium brown 885
Beautiful, favorite, fail-safe shade. My favorite eyeshadow of all time, like I’ve said before!
— ILIA Lipstick in Funnel of Love
I don’t know, this is basically my go-to. It’s so pretty and neutral, but also punchy? I can’t explain. But it is amazing.
— MAC Lustre Lipstick in Jubilee
I just love how easy this is to wear. It was my first ever MAC lipstick, and it’s perfect.
— NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in Bahama and Train Bleu
I use Bahama for everyday, but it doesn’t reapply well (I have to take off the first layer then reapply) plus I didn’t realize that it had a bit of fine, fine silver glitter. It’s weird, but not that noticeable. I still like it. Train Bleu has been my statement lip for a while. It is beautiful.
– winged liner
I’ve been wearing wings again, just small ones, and I’ve been loving it so much. My usual weapon of choice is a liquid liner from K-Palette*
And that’s it! Please share your favorites, currently or from last month. I’d love to know. 🙂 x

Great post 🙂 yet another blogger tempting me to buy that Kevin Aucoin sculpting powder….
Definitely try it, it’s amazing!
Last month I love:
– Maybelline lash sensational waterproof mascara
– NARS sin blush
– NARS sheer glow foundation
– NARS narsissist eyeshadow palette
It was a good makeup month for me. I have the Kevyn Aucoin in my wishlist for the longest and your review has helped me to want it even more 🙂 I probably will get it once I’m done with my benefit hoola because I have a serious pan situation on my hoola 😀
I love all of those, except I’ve never tried that Maybelline mascara! Haha I’ve never tried Hoola, but I’m pretty happy with the KA contour powder 🙂
wow this post has sparked my interest for the NARS lip pencils…got to swatch them the next time i see them in stores! x
Ahhh they’re some of my fave lip products, definitely check the velvet matte ones!
The only thing I can think of is Mac Verve a satin lipstick.
Oooh, it looks so pretty! 😀 ❤

Loving the Nars lip pencils!! -H
Some of my constant favorites for sure 🙂
digging that MAKE palette still! The color combination is a bit out there, but still really approachable
I love it so much! Agree that it seems “out there,” but the tones are so subtle and v. suitable for everyday, IMO 🙂
