New Discoveries from Indie Lee

The Indie Lee Blemish Lotion and Calendula Eye Balm aren’t necessarily new items, but they are new to me. I was wrestling with a weirdly relentless bout of acne and was a little desperate for a spot treatment, so in the bin the Blemish Lotion went. I was also looking for a replacement for my current eye cream, which is by One Love Organics. It was okay, as far as moisture went, but I was also in the mood to try something else.

IndieLee - Blemish Lotion, Calendula Eye Balm - 1

The Blemish Lotion ($26; shop here) is a talc-free spot treatment, where you let a 100% natural solution of colloidal sulfur, zinc oxide, salicylic acid, magnesium aluminum silicate, camphor, and iron oxide settle onto the bottom of a bottle of water and isopropyl alcohol. You dip a cotton swab in the settled sediment and apply to spots, over a few hours or overnight.

I swear, this has been a game changer for me. I tend to get really persistent spots around my nose area, but this calmed them down after just one application which has never happened to me and spots, ever. I think it’s safe to say that this product receives two thumbs up from me!

IndieLee - Blemish Lotion, Calendula Eye Balm - 2

I think it’s a bit too soon to exact judgment on the Calendula Eye Balm ($42; shop here). It’s supposed to significantly reduce dark circles, due to the Mango seed butter, so I’m watching out for any changes as far as that area is concerned. It’s definitely more of a balm consistency than my previous eye cream, but I like that it isn’t as goopy and messy.

My experience with Indie Lee has been so good, so far. I’m going to test these out longer (and maybe wait for another sale!) before I go and try out some of their other offerings. I’m eyeing the Brightening Cleanser, CoQ-10 Toner, and the Swiss Apple Facial Serum, which is a definite risky splurge.

My Christmas Present to Myself: The RMS Beauty Round-Up

I have already lamented my weakness over at Twitter a few weeks ago, when I confessed to buying a selection of RMS Beauty items and blamed it on Black Friday. In truth, I have been drooling over these items for months and months, always relegating them for one reason or another to the “not right now” list. It was a mistake on my part, at least for some of them, because they are, quite frankly, amazing.

RMS Beauty - Glowing Gift Set Burriti Bronzer - Header

RMS Beauty, one of the better known niche green beauty brands, has a handful of items in their product catalog. Some of the more famous and well-loved ones are the Living Luminizer ($38) and the “Un” Cover-Up ($36). They have a selection of color makeup items, some skin care and brushes, and most recently, a 6-free nail polish range.

I went the safe route, and argued for “value.” I reasoned that getting the Glowing Gift Set was probably the best choice since it had the aforementioned best-sellers as well as your choice of Eye Polish (a cream-based eyeshadow; $28) and Lip2Cheek (lip/cheek color; $36). And because I’m me, I couldn’t resist getting the Buriti Bronzer ($28), too.

This is going to be quite a longer review than I expected to make, but here goes.

RMS Beauty - Glowing Gift Set - Header

At $120, the Glowing Gift Set saves you just $18, a little more if you sign up for their newsletter (15% off your first purchase) or if you wait for a (kinda) major sale, like I did. Right off the bat, let me tell you that I loved two items from this set and am ambivalent towards the other two. I also think that it’s safe to guess which ones made my heart kinda swoon, to be honest.

First: the ones I loved.

Favorite #1: “Un” Cover-Up in 22

22 is the best-selling shade of the RMS “Un” Cover-Up, a yellow-based shade suited for “light-medium” complexions. I nearly opted for 33, but since I have had a history of over-estimating just how deep my skintone is, I went with the safest option. It’s easier to deal with too-light coverage than too-dark, I think.

Anyway, the “Un” Cover-Up is “lightweight and hydrating,” and is meant to enhance your skin and make it look better, not ~cover it up~ with pigment. (Get it?) It’s a good moisturizer, but doesn’t make you look slick or oily, and it does have pretty impressive coverage for something so lightweight. In other words, the “Un” Cover-Up is pure magic in a pot. Living in this humidity, this still works better with some type of primer, since I noticed it wore off as the day progressed.

Favorite #2: Living Luminizer

HOLY. I don’t even know. I can’t forgive myself for waiting so long, but also I suppose there were lessons to be learned there about making wise choices and like, delayed gratification or something. The Living Luminizer is amazing. I’m very rarely impressed by highlighters, mainly because I don’t think my face shape is quite er, welcoming, if that makes sense. This is glorious stuff, possibly made out of angels, IDK.

The only thing I hate about it is their copy on the website (‘sensual’ was used like 3 times too many), but other than that. I am so in awe and like, in love with it, I think.

OK #1: Lip2Cheek in Smile

I decided to go out of my comfort zone and pick a coral-y shade after a little bit of research. I saw Smile on Shannon and even though we are decidedly not similar, physically, it seemed like a beautiful everyday color. This is a great cheek product, but is very (frankly) gross-looking on the lips if you don’t prep them. Which, to be honest, kinda defeats the purpose for me, as the Lip2Cheek should feel as effortless as the other items they are selling. In any case, it’s a beautiful cheek color, so I’m quite happy about that. I just don’t think it’s particularly hydrating on the lips is all. Good pigmentation, though.

(Alternately, they also have the Lip Shine, which isn’t really up my alley in terms of lip products that I tend to like, but it might be a better choice for you.)

OK #2: Eye Polish in Seduce

I was initially drawn to Magnetic, which is a taupe/silver with a hint of mauve, but I knew I was going to get more wear out of (aka get sick of slower) Seduce, which is a “sensuous dirty brown that can double as a contour.”

I’m a little skeptical of most cream eyeshadows unless they’re tried and tested, personally, like MAC Paint Pots, but I kept reading about how the RMS Eye Polish “doesn’t budge” or crease or whatever. Anyway, these didn’t work out quite all that well for me. The product on my eyes remained wet-looking and didn’t really set, and kind of disappeared as the day wore on. Granted, this is without an eye primer, so I should have probably seen it coming. However, MAC Paint Pots are also cream shadows/bases, and they hold up pretty well without any fussing.

Swatches

Here are some swatches. First, straight outta compton the pot, then blended, then tilted to the side to show you the luminosity of the Living Luminizer. Here goes:

RMS Beauty - Glowing Gift Set Burriti Bronzer - Swatches - Living Luminizer, Uncover Up 22, Smile Lip2Cheek, Seduce Eye Polish, Burriti Bronzer

RMS Beauty - Glowing Gift Set

The packaging of these RMS products are so cute: tiny frosted glass pots with a metal-type cap. The design is simple and functional with no unnecessary frills. I dig it, but you might not if you are a germophobe.

RMS Beauty - Burriti Bronzer

The Buriti Bronzer

And then, here be the bronzer. The Buriti Bronzer is also a bestseller, but it’s not something I hear as much as I hear about the other two I’ve mentioned. The Buriti Bronzer also happens to be a favorite purchase, personally. It’s so amazing. I was honestly blown away, I hate it.

The aim of this bronzer, it seems, is to really warm up the face and create a sun-kissed look that’s not orange or pink or grey. If I’m not mistaken, the pigmentation used comes from Buriti oil, which is harvested from a type of Brazilian nut.

Again, the swatches, just to remind you what the Buriti Bronzer looks like next to the Eye Polish in Seduce, since RMS has claimed the latter can be used as a contour shade.

RMS Beauty - Glowing Gift Set Burriti Bronzer - Swatches - Living Luminizer, Uncover Up 22, Smile Lip2Cheek, Seduce Eye Polish, Burriti Bronzer

(Blended) Swatched, L-R: RMS Living Luminizer, RMS Lip2Cheek (Smile), RMS Eye Polish (Seduce), RMS Buriti Bronzer

You can definitely see the cooler, greyer, more shadow-like tones in Seduce. In any case, I’m kind of in love with both colors anyway.

Here’s everything I bought on my face. I also used a very sheer tinted base and translucent powder on my face.

RMS Face 1

RMS Face 2

And then, here’s one with pretty dramatic lighting, just to show you how stunning the Living Luminizer is, when the light hits it just right.

RMS - Face - Living Luminizer

Anyway, I really love RMS Beauty, but since it’s a pretty small brand, I think I’m all shopped out. One thing I don’t really like about it is that it really smells strongly of coconut, which I’m not exactly a fan of. I think that’s a pretty small con, though, and would recommend the three products I raved about in this post.

To the Rescue?

I purchased the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue because I was picking up something for my sister, and I needed a lightweight base that had SPF. My favored Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint is pretty much perfect for me for daily use, except for its lack of SPF. The bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is a “tinted hydrating gel cream” with non-chemical Broad Spectrum SPF 30. It is also formulated without oil, silicone, parabens or fragrance.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue - Natural 05 Swatch

I got the shade “Natural 05,” which I guesstimated from a shade finder they had on the bareMinerals website. Natural 05 is “for medium skin with neutral tones” and according to Shelbey, is similar to “Medium Beige” in the Original foundation, which is what I wear. As you can probably see from the photo, “gel cream” is a pretty accurate descriptor for the texture. It’s not really my favorite, because it still feels heavy when I apply it, even if the coverage isn’t necessarily so.

bareMinerals claims that this is “the best of a BB, a CC, and a tinted moisturizer” and provides a whopping “215% increase in skin hydration after just one week.” It utilizes “marine botanicals” as its means for hydration, and is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and dermatologist tested. I mean, I think you can understand how this sounds like absolute music to my dry-skinned, SPF-lacking self.

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue - Natural 05 Swatch Blended

The product is very easy to blend for me—I just use my fingers to apply—but one of the main criticisms I’ve read about it is that it is patchy. I did not have that issue, at all. Personally, I find it hard to believe that it applies patchily, just because the coverage is what its name implies: tinted. Although it claims to be sheer-medium coverage, it feels rather light on pigment, but it does cover general skin discoloration adequately.

RMS Face 2

Honestly, I’ve refrained from using this much because my initial wearing of it resulted in a weird inflammation around my inner cheek area (under the eyes, close to the nose; some of the roughness is visible in the photo above). Unlike any other I’ve experienced from a complexion product, ironically. I take fairly good care of my skin. I don’t use a lot of heavy products—I bought this one specifically because it claimed to do many, many good things for my skin.

So far, however, I’ve been wary of its claims and although I haven’t exactly pinpointed this product as the main culprit for my uncharacteristic breakout, I’m not ruling it out, either. For now, I still use it every time I go out. I’m hoping it’s more a matter of my skin trying to adjust to it than a true allergic reaction. I’m very happy with this product, most things considered, save maybe for the havoc it may or may not have wreaked on my face.

A(nother) Bunch of ColourPop Stuff

I think this is my last ColourPop update for now. I don’t really know what possessed me to try the blush and highlighters from the range… but here we are. I also picked up a stray eyeshadow and lipstick, which I figured I could just fit on over here instead of making a whole other separate post. I guess I’ll start with the Lippie Stix and the Super Shock Shadow, since they’re both items that I’ve previously tried in a different shade.

Lippie Stix in Tootsi

ColourPop - Tootsi - Swatches

Tootsi is a “cool-toned grey beige (“greige”) in a matte finish” and is pretty similar to one of the the Ultra Matte Lips I bought called Trap. I don’t really know what to say about this—I like the matte lipsticks by ColourPop, though I maintain that they are not “true” mattes. In any case, I’ve been having fun with this shade, true matte or no.

Super Shock Shadow in Central Perk

ColourPop - Central Perk - Swatches

I believe Central Perk was part of their fall collection. It’s a “dirty maroon in a matte finish,” though I think I detect a bit of shimmer in the pot that disappears upon application. I love this shade for a simple, all over the lid look, which is my favorite way to wear eyeshadows with a tinge of red in them.

Melt Cosmetics - Laced
This is Central Perk applied very sheerly all over the lid. It tends to blend away into this sheer wash of color, but with a little bit of elbow grease, it is possible to reach a good, opaque maroon. It’s not my favorite formula, but I do quite like the shade.

Cheeks

ColourPop - Monster, Butterfly Beach, Aphrodisiac - Swatches
Swatched, top to bottom: matte blush in Aphrodisiac, highlighters in Butterfly Beach and Monster

I bought the blush in Aphrodisiac, a soft beige brown with a matte finish. It joins the ranks of my favorite cheek colors: a there but not there type of blush. The product came to me somewhat smooshed: the pan was dislodged from the base, stuck to the cover, which is something that was easily fixed in function, if not aesthetically. Basically, it’s ugly now but usable.

The two highlighters I got were Butterfly Beach (soft peach with highlights of gold and silver) and Monster (light pink with highly opalescent duo chrome finish). They’re alright… but Butterfly Beach emphasizes my pores, and it blends away into oblivion if you’re not careful. They’re pretty nice used on the eyes, too.

Wearing Aphrodisiac and Butterfly Beach

FOTD-Neutrals and Navy-Face3
I mean. It’s either go heavy-handed or deal with overblending, right? I don’t know. I like them, but I also am kind of upset that it’s not as dramatic on my medium skin tone. Right now, I’m ambivalent about Butterfly Beach especially. I do love Aphrodisiac, though. Beautiful natural blush that’s so very easy to use. Wear time is average, by which I mean, I don’t notice significant fading throughout the day. By which I mean after six hours or so.

Wearing Aphrodisiac and Monster

ColourPop Monster
Monster is… well, kind of just that. It’s a monster of a highlighter, with a lovely purple-pink sheen that all too quickly gets lost in a sea of white. In the pan, it’s unassuming, but when the light catches it right, you kind of feel a little electric. This picture is not representative of what it might look like—especially in low light—but I tried very hard (and failed) to capture just what it can do. I went into my bathroom just now, with the lights off and just a stream of afternoon light filtering through a narrow window, and it looked so beautiful and pink. I mean, I know that you might think I’m just talking out of my ass, but until today, until that moment, I wasn’t really sold on Monster. And now, I suppose I’m a little in love with it.

As of right now, I’m trying my best to stay away from ColourPop, if I’m honest. I tend to go overboard with purchasing, given their really attractive price point, and general okay quality of products. It’s a great brand to explore if you’re somewhat new to makeup and can’t really decide just yet what type of colors and tones suit you. It’s a great brand to look to for gifts, too.

Give Me Lip: A Melt Cosmetics Lipstick Review

I’d been looking at Melt Cosmetics for a while now, especially after they released their eyeshadow stacks, a very celebrated product that I felt like I currently had no room for, considering my already overgrown makeup collection. Melt Cosmetics’ lipsticks, however, were always some of the favored mattes by true blue makeup fans.

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - Boxes

Around Black Friday, Melt Cosmetics had a 30% off sale, and I snagged a code from someone I followed on Tumblr, who was kind enough to share tips re: application and who also let me know which shades he favored. Luckily, I had picked 3 of his 4 favorites!

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - Swatches - Laced, Catsuit, Space Cake
Swatched, L-R: Laced, Catsuit, Space Cake

Laced

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - Laced

Laced is part of Melt Cosmetics’ Nood Collection, and is a greige-y type of color. It’s often compared to Lime Crime’s Cashmere, which I love the look of but refuse to buy. After looking at swatches, I don’t think they’re all that similar, but I do think Laced is a beautiful color regardless.

Melt Cosmetics - Laced
Unfortunately, my tube of Laced arrived damaged. Melt Cosmetics has a decent return policy, but seeing as I live overseas, I don’t want to go through all the trouble of sending the defective product back and waiting for it to arrive. I don’t want to spend for that, either, so I guess I’ll be using a lip brush from now on.

Although this is a super matte lipstick, it was quite painless to apply with a lip brush, so that’s a pro, for me. I use a flat lip brush, for reference.

Catsuit

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - Catsuit
Catsuit is also from their Nood Collection, the darkest of the four lip shades. This is a “smooth dark chocolate” shade and that’s honestly a pretty perfect description. Pigmentation is impeccable, application a little hard just because it’s so pigmented and it’s hard to get clean lines with a lipstick bullet and no lip liner.

Sorry for phone pics! Anyway, it’s such a great statement lip, I’m screaming. I love the tone and richness of it.

Space Cake

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - Space Cake

Space Cake is a grey, but it pulls really, really blue on me. So, it’s a blue-grey, I suppose. I love it so much. Is there a rule that says it’s not allowed for a lady in her late-ish 20s to love a grey lip? No? Good.

Melt Cosmetics Space Cake
To be honest, I looked into Melt Cosmetics because of Space Cake. I think I’m in a good place right now to try and see if I can truly rock the grey lip. Anyway, this shade is so good. I find it to be a bit smoother in application than the other two, kind of creamier but it also feels thicker and heavier.

MeltCosmeticsLipsticks - 1

Application may feel a bit hard at first since they tug a bit. Apparently, they’re supposed to be “warmed up,” but it’s really no trouble to apply at all.

Melt Cosmetics is cruelty-free. All of the shades I’ve purchased are vegan. I don’t consciously look for vegan cosmetics, but these ones are proof that you can make quality cosmetics without animal testing or animal-derived ingredients. Not all of Melt Cosmetics’ products are vegan, so check before you purchase.

They also have a pretty heavy vanilla-based frosting-y scent to them, which I, a vanilla-scent-hater, surprisingly do not mind all that much.

Although I feel like I’ve chosen pretty unique colors—at least, ones that I don’t have already—there are tons of dupes that are more available to the regular consumer, especially if you’re not really keen on going through the hassle of ordering online. Dupe That, for example, has an extensive list. I do love the Melt Cosmetics line, though—save for the broken bullet—so just know that if you’re looking for a new brand to support and love, I’m a fan.

Sulfate-Free Shampoo

I know it’s not the most exciting topic, but I think I’ve spoken about scalp problems before, and to be honest, the only thing that really helped me get rid of them were sulfate-free shampoos. I used to not really pay much attention to hair products, as long as I liked how they smelled, but when I started getting really itchy build-up with worrisome patches of dry, flaky skin, I started to take notice.

My first step was to ditch conditioner, just to eliminate the number of products (and therefore, lessen the build-up) I used in my hair. My hair suffered a little, but my main concern was really to get rid of my scalp issues. My next step was to go more natural and pay attention to ingredients. I chose to eliminate SLS or sodium lauryl sulfate, as it’s a common ingredient that has been known to cause some problems for a lot of people.

As it turns out, seeking out sulfate-free shampoos was the right step for me. Although I still have occasional flakiness, my scalp issues have mostly gone. The flakiness is probably due to me not rinsing properly, hehe. Anyway, here’s what I’ve been using pretty much exclusively for my hair.

SulfateFreeShampoos2

Human Nature Natural Shampoo (Moisturizing)

This has a fun citrus scent that instantly makes me feel refreshed. I used to use this when I went to try swimming as exercise a few months ago. It’s a fairly good shampoo that leaves my locks feeling squeaky clean. It’s also locally-made and is 100% natural.

Kracie Himawari Dear Beauté Oil in Shampoo* and Oil in Conditioner*

I received this quite a while ago, but never really talked about it since I don’t really talk much about hair care here. Anyway, it’s probably one of my favorite finds in 2015, especially because of my scalp problems (which began before September 2014 and lasted until around March or April 2015). The shampoo in particular is spectacular; I find that I don’t even really need to use the conditioner because the moisture that the shampoo provides is enough for my hair. And my hair is thick, so it takes a lot for it to feel smooth and silky.

In any case, these are winners for me. 10/10 would buy again! I’m actually kind of terrified of not being able to repurchase these, for one reason or another.

Updated Skin Care Routine, December 2015

Okay, I’m about to look like a crazy, and honestly, you don’t need this much shit in your life, probably. I started getting into skin care when I started getting into makeup. My skin wasn’t doing worse necessarily, but I was made more acutely aware of what my skin type was and what it needed. I’ve mainly had pretty good skin for most of my life. I had like a disgusting rash on my cheek in grade 5, but other than that, no acne or very much breakouts except for hormonal ones like when I get my period.

My skin got a little more high maintenance as I grew older, though. I honestly used to just let the water run down my face in the shower (lol), didn’t even use soap or any kind of moisturizer. But I think that wearing makeup and probably the stress of like adult life or whatever took a toll. I can’t really say for sure. All I know is that I want to take care of my skin, and here’s what I’ve been doing so far. I think it’s been working pretty okay?

DAILY

SkinCareUpdate - Cleanse Tone

Cleanse

To be honest, I’m not really fussy with cleansers and can mostly use whatever’s on hand. I do have favorites (Sibu Seabuckthorn Cleanser, One Love Organics Easy Does It, to name a few) but if they’re not readily available or on hand, I will use whatever’s there. Currently, I use the Human Nature Nourishing Facial Wash in the morning and Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser* at night. If my face is breaking out in too many spots, I filch a bit of my sister’s derma-prescribed anti-acne gel cleanser, but I can’t use it too much because it’s quite drying.

Tone

I currently use the Antipodes Ananda Antioxidant-Rich Gentle Toner* and sometimes Glossier Soothing Skin Mist (more for prepping than toning). I like both a lot, though my favorites are usually toners with tea tree extract in it such as LUSH Tea Tree Toner and The Body Shop Tea Tree Toner.

SkinCareUpdate - Moisturize

Moisturize

This is where I like to play, to be honest. I have a ton of moisturizers, though my favorites to use are facial oils. Currently, I use a rotation of Antipodes Divine Face Oil*, Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream* and Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil for the day. At night, I will use any of the oils I just mentioned oils.

If I feel in need of extra moisture, One Love Organics Skin Savior Multi-tasking Wonder Balm, which is a coconut oil-based moisturizer that feels (and smells!) amazing. I leave it on at night for parched skin. For any weirdly/extra dry patches or spots, which I get around my mouth area, I’ll dab a bit of Glossier Balm Dotcom on it.

SkinCareUpdate - Eye Cream

Eye Cream

I currently use One Love Organics x Elizabeth Dehn Vitamin E Eye Balm, though I’ve purchased the Indie Lee Calendula Eye Balm recently, and have been rotating both. I apply only around my orbital bone and it really helps with the fine lines, especially since I have dry skin.

SkinCareUpdate - Makeup Remover Sunscreen

Makeup Remover

I’m not too fussy about this, as long as it removes makeup. I don’t like creams or oils that you have to wipe off, but other than that, I’m pretty un-fussy. I also like using a bi-phase remover like this one by Laneige.

Sunscreen

Also not too fussy about this, as long as it doesn’t make me look shiny midday. These are two of the ones I like using: Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence* (yes, that is truly what it’s called) and Bioré Aqua Rich Whitening Essence*, the latter of which I keep in my to-go bag.

TWICE, WEEKLY

SkinCareUpdate - Scrub Masks

Exfoliate

I use the One Love Organics Brand New Day Microderma Scrub + Masque which uses pineapple enzymes to exfoliate dead skin instead of microbeads or ground-up apricot shells. It’s pretty amazing. Whenever I remember (which is not very often), I also try to use a Clarisonic with whatever cleanser I have on-hand.

Masks

I primarily use the Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque, which is amazing and very refreshing to use. I sometimes (not often) use the Glory Boon Facial in a Jar (French Pink Clay), but it tends to be a messy affair, so I rarely do it.

I forgot to take a photo, but when I feel the need to do a moisture mask, I use the Too Cool For School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack* or sheet masks. My favorites are by Dermal and Beauty Buffet.

AS NEEDED

SkinCareUpdate - Blemish Control

Blemishes

For blemishes, I used to use a derma-prescribed cream (again for my sister), tea tree oil from The Body Shop, MyChoice Anti Acne Whitening Facial Cream* but none of them really worked that well for especially big blemishes. I ordered the Indie Lee Blemish Lotion recently though, and honestly, I haven’t had anything that’s worked as well as that one.

When I’m out and can’t sport a face of drying acne mixture, I use some acne patches, too. I got a bunch from a BNT News quite a while back, which are my favorite— Leaders AC-Free Spot Patch—but the Nexcare ones you can buy from Mercury Drug are good, too. The film’s just thicker and so more obvious than my discreet ones from Leaders. I wish I could grab a pack or five here, alas. Only in Korea. Or eBay.

SkinCareUpdate - Extras

Boosters

A category for serums and such. I know serums are kind of a weird, somewhat strange category, but I really like the ones I have. My favorites are the Antipodes Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum* which I apply before my moisturizers if my skin is feeling particularly bad, One Love Organics Morning Glory Brightening Serum, and the Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Serum.

Etc.

I used to use retinol a lot more often than I do now. It might have been too harsh on my skin (so I’ve stopped), but when it wasn’t fucking my face up, it gave me really good results. I kind of really want to go back on retinol, but I think I might switch it up and every other other day (two days in between applications) as opposed to every other day. Anyway, I use the La Roche Posay Redermic R and the La Roche Posay Redermic R for Eyes.

SkinCareUpdate - All

And that’s it for my excessive skin care routine. Honestly, when I feel too lazy, I’m just “Remove Makeup-Cleanse-Tone-Moisturize,” but usually when I’m in the middle of it, I end up doing the whole shebang because I feel like I’ve already started it—might as well follow through!
