One Week is a series I’m starting where I wear a single palette for a week, resulting into 5-7 makeup looks. I’m starting this series with Urban Decay’s original Naked palette. Of course.
For this look, I did a cut crease with a shade that I never ever really use on the Naked palette: Gunmetal. It turned out to be way more wearable than I thought. I just softly blended that into my crease and tried to do a soft winged out corner… Did it work?
I used Buck as a transition shade, and Virgin as a browbone highlight. Because why not?
On my mobile lid, I have sin, and a bit of Toasted in the outer corner, and Half Baked in the inner corner, just because I thought it would be fun. I did a very, very thin wing with a liquid liner.
Along my lash line, I smudged a bit of Gunmetal and on my waterline, I used Le Métier de Beauté Anamorphic Lash Mascara in Tamarack. I curled my lashes and applied a mascara by Eye of Horus*
Face: y.e.t. Cosmetics Fill It Up Primer, Ellana Minerals Loose Foundation in Caramel Latte*
Eyebrows: The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit in 02
Cheeks: Wet n Wild Bronzer in Princess, Revlon Mineral Blush in Roseberry
Lips: Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick in Gemma
WOW. This is Day 5. Can you believe that? I’m getting the hang of this palette! On a similar note, I think I like the cut crease more than a smoky eye, but I’m not sure I can wear this anywhere… Also, I have such a small lid space!
Anyway, see you tomorrow if I feel like busting out my Naked palette, still. If not, then stay tuned for Monday for another palette under scrutiny!

This is my fave so far. Anyway, your eyebrows look different
Thank you Rae. 🙂 I overdrew my right one yata hahaha
Hey Carina, omg this is amazing! Gunmetal is probably the most under-used shade in this palette for me, because I don’t quite know how to make it work. I think I might try something like this in the future!
I didn’t know how to use it either, so I just went for it, and yay, it worked out. 🙂 I think it might look nice smudged on the lash line, around the outer corners!
I think this looks great
You like this, bean? :0 It’s so heavy! Haha.
You look amazing! Definitely my favorite look so far 🙂 Love the cut crease!
Thank you, Olivia. 🙂 I love cut creases! I think it works for small lid spaces.
That is a gorgeous look
Thank you so much. 🙂
You look stunning hunni! I love my naked2 palette, can you believe since I got it in sept/oct I have forsaken every other shadow? Steph x
Thank you Steph! 🙂 That’s great for the Naked 2, haha. 🙂 It means it’s a great purchase.
I’ve never used Gunmetal! I’m just not into steely gray/blue colors but I like this look! I have to study how to do a cut crease!
Right? It translates fairly neutral especially if you blend it out. 🙂 Good luck!
Hey, you look DIVINE. ❤
:D! Stahp et! ❤
