I’ve been extremely busy lately and my queue of posts ran out before I could write more posts (heh), so I hope you guys don’t mind a Face of the Day! I wore this to #YSProm, which is basically Young Star’s 18th Birthday! You can see (a bit) more pictures here.
It looks simple—and it is!—but I did spend quite a bit of time making my base look nice~ I was so happy that I didn’t have to put SPF on my face because it was a night event. Thank tha lawddd. I only put up with SPF because I don’t want to burn under the sun.

I’ve always loved how you photograph your face in this blog, it looks very raw and clear! (I really don’t know how to explain it, haha) May I know how do you light your subject for photos? Do you use artificial lighting or just the good ‘ol sunlight? 🙂
Thanks Jamela! Sometimes I use natural light, sometimes I just use the LED lamp I use on my desk. 🙂 I adjust the white balance in my camera accordingly and then post-process and do some minor color corrections also.
