I’ve been extremely busy lately and my queue of posts ran out before I could write more posts (heh), so I hope you guys don’t mind a Face of the Day! I wore this to #YSProm, which is basically Young Star’s 18th Birthday! You can see (a bit) more pictures here.

OW - AGCTW - 3- Face 1

OW - AGCTW - 3- Face 2

It looks simple—and it is!—but I did spend quite a bit of time making my base look nice~ I was so happy that I didn’t have to put SPF on my face because it was a night event. Thank tha lawddd. I only put up with SPF because I don’t want to burn under the sun.

What I Wore: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (Ginger), bareMinerals Original Foundation (Medium Beige), BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector (Opal), Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (Mood Light), & Other Stories Eyebrow Pencil (Bouclé Greige), The Body Shop Brow & Liner Kit (02), MAC Paint Pot (Painterly), NARS And God Created the Woman Palette, Sasa Perfect Shape Gel Eyeliner (01 Velvet Black), Happy Skin Eye Am Here to Stay Gel Liner (Peppermint), Maybelline The Rocket Mascara*, NARS x Pierre Hardy Blush (Boys Don’t Cry), Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte & Waterproof Bronzer (Park Avenue Princess), Happy Skin Shut Up & Kiss MeMoisturizing Lippie (The Morning After)

And that’s it! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend ahead of you & thanks for reading. 🙂

    • GIRL. Thank you pls. (Ikaw rin, duh.)

The sly eyelinering is a necessity, but I’m glad it’s been working out like a fancy trick on y’alls hahaha

  1. Slow clap para sa eyeliner. And wow. Flat na si hourglass. Do you already have diffused. I think I’m not ready to give up on hourglass yet.

    • HAHAHA thank you! Alam ko na pano mag-line with my eye folds~ pero minsan sablay pa rin, lol. Haha favorite ko kasi talaga si Mood Light! Hmm Diffused is the only one I don’t have. 🙂

  2. Jamela says

I’ve always loved how you photograph your face in this blog, it looks very raw and clear! (I really don’t know how to explain it, haha) May I know how do you light your subject for photos? Do you use artificial lighting or just the good ‘ol sunlight? 🙂

    • Thanks Jamela! Sometimes I use natural light, sometimes I just use the LED lamp I use on my desk. 🙂 I adjust the white balance in my camera accordingly and then post-process and do some minor color corrections also.
