I was really thinking about all my beauty favorites this May, and came up with zero things—I either rotated stuff so often, it would be unfair to call them favorites or I didn’t care to wear much makeup. I couldn’t really think of “real” favorites… Except, that is, for lip crayons!
These were the lip products I tend to reach for the most the entire month. From the color choices on the lids, I think you can see why I kind of had to go on my Beauty Dare. Anyway, my favorites are the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils (my NARS VMLP in Bahama is missing—I can’t find it anywhere!) and the Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Moisturizing Lippies, which are the easiest freaking things to wear.
I also love the Addiction by Ayako Lipcrayon and the NARS Satin Lip Pencil, but I only have one shade in each (my NARS one is LE, too), so I rarely use either of them. Glossier options are the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks and the MUA Power Pout.

Softly Sometimes 
Mine would be Tarte’s Lipsurgence Tints and Happy Skin’s Shut Up and Kiss Me lippies. They’re moisturizing and longlasting.
A friend recommended to me the NARS lip pencil (in the shades Lodhi and Yu) but I’m not too keen on sharpening lip pencils. Feels like I’m wasting precious product.

I’ve never tried the Lipsurgence! 🙂 Decanso is super great. I don’t have to sharpen mine that often but you can kind of set aside the product when you sharpen and keep them in a pot. 🙂
Mine would be Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balm Stains! It’s very comfortable on the lips despite the matte texture. I’m eyeing Happy Skin’s Shut Up and Kiss Me lippies though!
I’ve been dying to try those, but I’m waiting for Revlon to go CF again since they pulled out of China haha.
I hope they do soon! Or they should create a line similar to Cover Girl’s Natureluxe line before 🙂

Satin Lip Pencil! I also like Clinique Chubby Intense. In general however, I favor traditional old-school lipsticks 😉
I don’t know what I prefer, but I love that these are so easy to use!
I’m not sure if you have a Clinique Chubby Stick Intense yet, but I love that. I have one in the Berry shade and it layers on soooo lightly but color payoff is, intense. I did notice a few weeks ago that coverage is not completely opaque, and I’m not sure how to feel about that.
I don’t really buy from Clinique, but I got one for my mom so I’ll try it out! Haha.
I love Rimmel lip crayon, but often use lipstick and tints. Lovely blog

My new favorite crayon is the Bobbi Brown Art Sticks! I actually like the formula better than my NARS lip pencils! Until BB NARS was my #1. Also, love the Revlon balms as well. In that order 🙂
