And the last week of 20 Days of Lipstick is late and ends on a Tuesday. Mostly because I didn’t want to extend it for another week (i.e. prolong the recap and post next Sunday), just because I ran out of days for lipstick-wearing. Anyway, ahem.
DAY FIFTEEN feat. Le Métier de Beauté Hydra-Crème Lipstick in Signature
I got this in the first Le Métier de Beauté Beauty Vault VIP box, when they had yet to launch the Hydra-Crème line, and I would never have picked this for myself. Mostly because I don’t believe that reds look all that good on me. I’m glad I got this, though, because I think it might be my favorite “real” red (in case Guerlain’s Orgueil is too purple to count for all y’all. The formula is fantastic, too, if anyone was wondering. Especially for a matte lipstick! I forgot how much I loved this one, to be honest.
DAY SIXTEEN feat. MAC Satin Lipstick in Rebel
Not technically mine, but it’s beautiful! I didn’t think I could wear this color when I saw it in the tube, for some reason? This is a picture after I’ve worn it for like two hours or something, so the color and finish are a little fade-y. It’s definitely more creamy when freshly applied. I love that this stains your lips.
DAY SEVENTEEN feat. OCC Lip Tar in Anita
This was a real pain to wear since I hadn’t touched it in a while and the formula went all watery. It’s a much deeper brick red (supposedly), so I’ll just have to remember to wear it more often from now on.
P.S. I don’t understand why people keep saying that OCC Lip Tars “stay put” on your lips through meals and the apocalypse. I find them to fade/wear off so quickly for me.
DAY EIGHTEEN feat. Guerlain Rouge G L’Extrait in Gourmandise
This one, I have ignored for a while. I don’t know why… For a person who confesses not to like dark/bright pinks, I sure have a lot of them! This is an excellent kind of shocking reddish pinky coral. Something like that. I love this formula and how easy it is to apply when you get the hang of it, especially when it comes with its own mirror.
DAY NINETEEN feat. Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Nova
Another pink! This is technically wearable, but it’s a lip that doesn’t get put on too often. I love how it looks, though. I think I just need to get used to seeing myself wear pinky shades. These Apocalips Lip Lacquers (I have 2) are great, though. They last long and stain your lips pretty well.
DAY TWENTY feat. Flower Beauty Kiss Stick High Shine Lipstick in Ginger Lily
I think I’m warming up to oranges. 🙂 Though this is not technically a straight-up orange, but a kind of pinky coral-y one. I really like the formula of this and the plasticky scent I hated when I first got it seems to have faded when I depotted it into a pillbox. YAY. I shall wear this more often, despite the added hassle of a lip brush. I don’t know if I’ve been eating something that makes me hanker for more oranges or if it’s just a natural effect of summer!
Anyway, there you have it! 20 Days of Lipstick donez. On to the next challenge!

OOO Gourmandise and Ginger Lily! I’m really looking forward to Guerlains’s revamped KissKiss line for the moment, but I keep wondering why they don’t add more shades to the Rouge L’Extrait line-up. It’s absolutely the best liquid lipstick formula out there! I wore my Envie a little while ago. Pure bliss 🙂
Signature looks great on you! 🙂
So gorgeous, I love Flower Beauty Kiss Stick High Shine Lipstick in Ginger Lily the most but they’re all so pretty and they all look fabulous on you! 🙂
Every shade looks super nice on you! And your hair!! I crush it ❤

You look so pretty in Red and Orange! ❤
Anita wins best look overall! The color flatters you, LOVE your fun use of liner, and the hair styling is so… chique (chic just won’t cut it!) Signature gets special mention ’cause your lips look sooo kissable there.
Ginger Lily makes you look a bit orangey — or maybe it’s the lighting? But it’s definitely a good color! As for MAC Rebel, I usually see a more intense violet swatch on other bloggers. The stain it left is beautiful, though! Do you think it’s okay for daily use? I’m planning to purchase it soon! Also, from your 20 Days of Lipstick challenge, which of them do you think you will include in your next make-up rotation? 😀
Thank you! It might be the lighting. :p Yeah, Rebel is great for daily use, IMO.
Your new hair is so nice!! And Rebel looks nice on you 🙂
I feel the same way towards OCC Lip tars! They’re lovely, though.
They’re lovely, but I don’t get ittt. Hahaha.
