I’m not generally one to fawn over blushes—at a certain point, I’ve had to admit that most look similar on my skintone—but I’ve been liking the Sigma Powder Blush in Born To* even though I hadn’t expected a whole lot from it.
Born To is such a pretty shade—a dusty mauve-y pink with fine silver specks. I’ve swatched it heavily, then blended out in the photo above. From my experience, Sigma blushes aren’t that pigment-packed in practice, but it does layer and build really nicely.
I love pairing this blush with similar-toned lip products, since I think it helps bring out the tones of the blush. Powder blushes tend to fade really quickly on me, as my face tends to eat it up for some reason, but I like that this one comes in such a portable compact that’s easy to bring for touch-ups.
Born To is such a pretty everyday shade, even if you’re not cool-toned, which is what I initially thought would suit this blush the best. It’s a really pretty all-around blush that pairs really well with many different looks, which isn’t something I thought would be the case—mainly because the silver specks.
If you’d like more information on this look, I posted about it here quite a while ago.
