too cool for school’s Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion in #1 Mother of Pearl

If you’re looking for a product to add a lit-from-within glow to your makeup base, this might be the answer! Or one of, anyway. The Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion in #1 Mother of Pearl by too cool for school is a liquid illuminator that you can mix with your face base or use to highlight certain points. Product Description: “Radiant skin that seems like 100 of fluorescent lights turned on.” — Creates three-dimensional & natural skin through pearls by reflection & curve of light. — 7 ingredients that contain high moisture keep moisturizing skin for hours. — adheres to skin tightly and leaves smooth and refreshing feeling. I don’t know about the rest of its claims—I didn’t particularly feel like this moisturized my skin or refreshed it—but I can vouch for it creating a natural-looking dewiness. I only ever use this mixed in with my face base (1:2, illuminator:BB cream ratio) because the pump dispenses too much product for me to just use it on isolated parts of my face. Mail Time: Too Cool for School Haul

Hello! Here’s another haul. I bought these items about three weeks ago and now they have come into my possession. Off the bat, I am very pleased with my purchases. I have some (color!) items that I have my eye on (again), but I’m holding off purchases right now. Anyway, I bought these products from Korea Depart, and they are a pleasure to do business with! As you may have read in my last post, I found out about Too Cool For School from Wiji of Dandelion Whiskers. I searched high and low for a retailer of this product and found Korea Depart! They carry a lot of Korean brands, too, and have reasonable shipping fees so go take a look. What I got for myself, L-R: Angel Hand Cream in Grapefruit, Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion in Mother of Pearl (this is a luminizer), a Marshmallow Puff (a pretty good Beauty Blender dupe!), and Break Time Lip Tint Balm in Rose Dream. I especially like the Dinoplatz line because of the design and illustrations. Agh, …

First Nature Republic Haul!

A few weeks ago, Patty alerted me to Nature Republic’s February markdown sale, so off I went! Nature Republic is a Korean brand, by the by. The name would suggest that. I asked for a list of recommendations and I just pretty much got what she told me to get (I am a sheep) because I was in a hurry. Here be my loot! Products in focus: Shine Blossom Rose Blusher (04 Lovely Rose), Aloe Vera 80% Cleansing Gel Cream, Sleeping Tonight Lavender Sleeping Pack. I will get into the blusher down below, but let me talk about the other two products in focus here. OK, so Patty advised me to get all of the items here, except for the Sleeping Pack, which I just got to make my purchase reach Php 1,000 for a free membership. I’ve tried the Aloe Vera 80% Cleansing Cream Gel when I got home to take off my makeup. It’s alright. It got rid of my eye makeup fairly well, but I should note that I wasn’t wearing anything …
