I mean, I had a really hard time trying to think of an eyeshadow that would match how gloriously slick and shiny (um, lol) the stuff on his eyelids is. And even then, I failed. See, most of the ones I had in mind that could possibly pass as a “dupe” in terms of shade are a little on the frosty side. Anyway, I think this is actually something like vaseline or a lip gloss, to be honest.

I ended up reaching for Shiro Cosmetics’ Baker’s Boy (from the Hunger Games collection) patted on a clear primer + eyeliner:

concealer: Ellis Faas (S204)*, powder: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (Ethereal Light), eyeliner: K-Palette liquid liner (black)* and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (Crave), blush: Kjaer Weis (Abundance), lipstick: MAKE Matte Lipstick (Jakarta)

A true fail. But I mean, I don’t think I can ever even hope to replicate any kind of Zayn, so whatever. I tried.

Next up is actually a lot prettier look from Louis Tomlinson, feat. rose petal eyeshadow:

I think I got the shade selection here more accurately, but if I recall correctly, I ran a cool brown along my outer crease for depth, and it threw the look off, maybe. What do you think? I used Wet n Wild’s Penny, which has been touted as a p. good dupe for MAC’s Expensive Pink, so you could try that one out, if you already have it.

I actually don’t remember much of my makeup since I put it in the car on the way to work, but I’m sure that I have Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders (Diffused, Incandescent, Radiant Light) and NARS’ Niagara as my lipstick

I think I could have blown the petal pink up, to be honest. It’s still that sheeny quality that I’m not sure how to replicate, if I’m honest. It’s nice to try different things out anyway, I think.
