I saved the best for last! Which is weird because I never thought I’d be so smitten with a red gel eyeliner, but here we are. Anyway, the product in question is the 3CE Gel Eyeliner in #L.O.V.E.. 3CE or 3 Concept Eyes is the makeup arm of Korean fashion brand, Stylenanda. I’ve had the pleasure of trying out 4 items from this awesome, mid-range brand so far, and I’m in love with all of them!

Stylenanda 3CE - Gel Eyeliner - #LOVE - Pot

This gel liner is super creamy and is pretty much a dream to work with since the color glides on so smoothly on your lids and is so opaque in just one swipe. The pot of product, which is housed in frosted glass, comes with a super nifty liner brush (flat and somewhat tapered) which is what I used to apply it.

You can use it to apply broad strokes or thinner ones, depending on which side you use. As you can see from these swatches, the product is ultra creamy and is super pigmented. All of these swatches were made with just one dip.

I used it above the Graymelin eyeliner we got this month, which is in brown. I’m not sure if I can wear the red liner on its own. It will provide definition for sure, but I feel like the brown anchors it. Look at how lush and beautiful it is, though. The liner is pretty thick, but when I open my eyes, it disappears:

It’s like my little secret. 🙂 So far, I feel like this is the best gel liner I’ve ever tried. Next on the list is the shu uemura Painting Liner. I have a love/hate relationship with gel liner, but I feel like if this was my introduction to the product, I would probably be a gel liner convert from the get go.

This retails for $13.21 on the 3CE website—well worth it for the quality of the product. This is truly a gem that I’m glad I got to try.

This is one of the skin are items from the BNT Girls box: the Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced. I'm not so sure what kind of mask it is. Here's what the description on the tune says:

It's a pretty weird product. It's kind of a gel-type cream that's super moist. I can't explain it, but it's really light and watery. When you rub it into your skin, it turns into droplets:

I still wasn't sure I know what kind of mask it, so I did a bit of research. I found this page that has a bit more useful information.

How to use

  1. It is jell type moist cream form so apply every morning and evening.
  2. Get much amount on hands and apply on all area of face like you daub cream on your face.

I wasn't sure how if I had to leave it in my skin, so I washed it off after a few minutes even though I didn't really feel any residue. It is fairly moisturizing and quite moisturizing but I don't know if it is an “all in one” product at this point.

I think it's a great day time moisturizer, but I don't know If it's enough hydration for my night time skin care routine. I do love how it smells and I enjoy putting it on.

Hello, I remembered to post on time this week. Congratulate me! For this week’s Nosy Beauty, I’ve asked Saab to share some of her makeup-y bits. I’m pretty sure y’all know who she is, haha. Anyway, this is a little creepy to say (maybe), but I’ve always loved Saab’s face. I remember the only makeup my classmates ever bothered with back in high school was a slick of eyeliner and a swipe of a lip and cheek tint. These were super fuss-free makeup essentials then, since you can just put it on in the morning and go about your day, thinking about other things instead. You know, typical high school concerns. Ain’t nobody got time to think of lipstick!

One Week Naked 2: Day 4

Hello everyone! This is the 4th day of my Naked 2 challenge with Natalie. I think she’s working on a night look today, so watch out for that when it goes up on her blog. As for me, I went towards a more rose-gold direction, as I haven’t gotten the chance to get the Naked 3 yet. (On another note, I’m super pleased with the amount of rose-toned eyeshadows that has been popping up lately. Definitely going to be a pretty season.)
